The first lady and dog Bo visited the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC yesterday. For the visit, Mrs. O wore a forest green gathered front dress paired with tall black boots.
This is the most closeup picture I have ever seen of Bo. He is getting old. He must be a very clean dog because I dont keep my pets that close to me when I am dressed up. I definitely wont put them on my lap. On the fashion front, I love the the forest green dress Mrs. O has on. I have something similar in navy blue and I have worn it so many times. I cant remember who it is by but it was a splurge when I bought it about 5 years ago and I still wear it.
Loving Mrs. O's hair. Yes, I see you just got in that new relaxer, Mrs. O! The roots are looking straight.
Mrs. O certainly is "wearing" Bo Joan! As big as he is, you can tell he is spoiled and loves Mrs. O as much as we all do! Decided he wants to be a "little" lap dog--too cute/too funny! He is a beautiful dog! I do remember this dress and once again love the holiday color, softness and;simplicity it exudes.
It's obvious that Bo thinks Mrs.Obama is the Alpha in the family. He is always adoring of her and did you hear her say in one interview that Bo gets to stay in the bedroom when the President is away on travel? For a first time dog owner she is clearly 'the one' for this pup. Nice holiday collar on Bo and his regular green woven collar with the heart clasp is a fine canine fashion statement.
love this outfit, and Bo is the perfect accessory! On another note, I was surprised that Mrs. O was not at the vigil last night in Newtown. Seemed like POTUS could have really used her at his side.
That dog is too cute for words! He's the perfect accessory. As for "getting old" ... wasn't Bo a pup just 4 years ago? He was a gift from Sen. Kennedy, right? Mrs. O is rocking it as usual.

Bo is so gorgeous and cute that he looks like a cuddly toy and not a dog.
Bo is Beautiful! Don't think he's all that old? As I recall, I believe he was a puppy when Senator Ted Kennedy gifted the Obama girls the dog after the Obama family moved into The White House (2009). So, maybe about 4-5 years old? He is striking--just like his owners!!!
Ha ha, I have to agree with you guys that this is the first really close-up picture I've seen of Bo, and true, he looks like a cuddly play toy. And, certainly he's a dog that is used to living the high life in the White House. But all sweet dogs deserve the best!
Mrs. A, of course Bo is a very clean dog -- he probably has his own valet! ;) And the Obamas got him upon the advice of Ted Kennedy, since Malia is allergic -- Bo is a Portuguese Water Dog who doesn't shed and he's also hypoallergenic. With all that lovely curly hair and he doesn't shed, that's what I'd call neat and clean. When Bo's hair is clipped, there's probably enough to make Mrs. O a nice sweater, and also enough left to fashion her a couple of Bo brooches. :)

That is one handsome and laid back dog! FLOTUS is giving us repeats and I am enjoying them. I really like this shade of green, especially in the winter months. I know I'm not the only one anticipating what our Michelle is going to hit us with for The Inauguration! I cannot hardly wait!
Mark, Mrs. O didn't accompany Pres O to Newtown because their daughter was dancing in the school performance of the Nutcracker. One of the things that I love about them the most is how they really do put their family first. Pres. Obama attended a rehearsal before he left for Newtown. God Bless us all! Oh. and Mrs. O and BO both look fabulous!

Thank you for the update, isonprize. Yes, I think it's wonderful that they put their kids first as well, setting a wonderful example.
This link for West Wing Week shows our wonderful President and all that he does (and endures). At the very end, there is a short clip of Mrs. O walking in this green outfit. After she sits down, Bo is just too cute, jumping right in her lap! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBarMWcYdAA
Michelle, I'm in awe of each moment that I see you on television or in a magazine or even pictures on line. I just love your sense of fashion because you make it look so classy and professional without showing skin. So, I thank you for showing us that you can be just as beautiful without doing that. You have such a beautiful family and glad that we get to see you guys another four more years! Thank you for making one lady feel even more special by giving them this beautiful jewelry. Love you!:)

Bo is SO ADORABLE with his wavy black hair and brown eyes!! Of course, Mrs. O is adorable too.
FLOTUS looks gorgeous but Bo is distractingly cute!
Surely Bo must be the best (and most often) groomed dog in America!
love this outfit, and Bo is the perfect accessory!

I just love Bo's expression. He's so perfect and cute for the Obamas.
Get a chuckle when Bo stares at the Bo immitation dogs. Sweet moment.
I've never seen such a great closeup of Bo before. What a sweet, soulful little face. I can see why the Obamas adore him.

Go Bo! I don't think Bo is very old. He was just a puppy 4 years ago, remember? Mrs. O is looking fab as usual.
Look at those dreamy eyes....Bo you are ready for your close up!
Big baby in his mommy's lap! How cute he is, how gorgeous his mom is!
I want to know who made the dress very pretty!
Mark it was said that Sasha had a ballet recital that night, the nutcracker the President missed it to help the grieving and the first lady stayed.

I so love Mrs. O blog. I have learned so much more about fashion and designers I had not heard of. I am so happy for four more years.

I'm a huge fan of your blog - thanks for keeping it up-to-date and awesome! Oh and also a fan of Mrs. O, herself. :-)
I am wondering where the boots are from? Love them!
