Hanukkah at the White House

The president and first lady hosted a Hanukkah reception in the Grand Foyer of the White House on Thursday evening. The Obamas were joined by Rabbi Larry Bazer to light the 90-year-old menorah, which hails from a temple in Long Island, New York that was heavily flooded during Hurricane Sandy. For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a Jason Wu dress, debuted last year for a holiday event, here. An Alexis Bittar Teatro Modern pin at the collar completed the look.

Thank you for posting this. I was at this party. Actually, in this photo. Michelle Obama is absolutely breathtaking in person. We chatted for a moment. She is as gracious as she is beautiful. What an evening

@Avjosh, wow! We're happy for you! Share details please, we'd love to hear more. Everyone that I've tlked to that has met her (or him, for that matter) has always said that pivctures & television don't do them any justice. They are lovelier inside and out, I believe it.
As for our Michelle's ensemble, it's a repeat worth repeating. Oh, by the way, our President is looking rather dashing himself!
Lovely!
