Weekend Chic

The Obamas enjoyed a weekend away at Camp David. Arriving back in Washington, Mrs. O wore a Sophie Theallet dress, last seen on July 4th, and paired here with a cropped black cardigan.

I know Mr. President could care less about fashion, but he's in the water! A couple inches added on the hem is all he needs. The gals look fab.
Looks as if they're sharing a joke and having fun. I like this dress very much, particularly the colors and the print. It's also a good fit on Mrs. O.
That dress is gorgeous and Mrs Robinson looks equally nice. She must be incredibly proud of her daughter and son in law. It's one thing to raise successful kids but to raise an icon is an entirely different story. God bless them all.

Our Michelle sure gets her money's worth with that cardi. I like how it seems to go with anything, and don't we covet of an article of clothing like that! This is a cute family pic with my President looking, well, shall we say ready for high tide (smile). I'm laughing when I type this because I do love him, but I just want to yell through the monitor, "Come on Boo!' He tickles me!

Last time Mrs. O wore this dress, I thought she looked unusually chunky. Within a few weeks, she was looking the slimmest ever (vacationing in Aug.). She still looks slimmer in this dress than in July. I think she must be on a different routine: more intense aerobic exercise and lean protein? Something I have been aiming at for some time. sigh Once again Michelle is inspiring by example.
