A great new piece on Vogue's Anna Wintour will run in this weekend's WSJ. magazine. It's been clear that Vogue admires the first lady, but now it's official: "Michelle Obama is one of the first names Wintour mentions when asked whom she most looks up to," writes author Joshua Levine.

The President and First Lady attended an official dinner at the National Palace in San Salvador, El Salvador last evening. For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a ivory and gold dress, accessorized with chandelier earrings and pearl bracelets.
Update: Mrs. O wore a gold floral jacquard dress by L'Wren Scott. On the jewelry front, Mrs. O wore crystal chandelier earrings and crystal and pearl bracelets, all by Miriam Haskell.

Later this afternoon, Mrs. O helped to paint a mural with students at the site of a USAID project called ¡Supérate! in San Salvador, El Salvador. For the event, Mrs. O wore a printed wrap halter top with cropped stone colored pants.
