Going Green

The first lady was in North Carolina yesterday making campaign stops at East Carolina University and North Carolina Central University. On the tarmac in Raleigh-Durham, Mrs. O greeted children from Y.E. Smith elementary Museum School.

For the appearances, Mrs. O wore a vibrant green and black dress, previously seen in Hawaii this January, seen here. More to follow!

Honestly, I still admire FLOTUS ' clothes.... She has inspired me to loose another 5 lbs> Flotus is a beatiful person beyond what she wears. Each time I look at her tears come in my eyes.

You're welcome Nyon! Thanks for all your hardwork too! And yes, we need 4 more years of Michelle!

Sorry, but I am going to have to disagree with both of you ladies. We don't need 4 more years of Michelle Obama......we need at least 4 more years! Heck, I'd take eight more if at all possible! She is our girl!
As for this dress, I believe it's a DVF that was not put in production. When she first wore it last year, Mrs. T and I spotted something very similar on Yoox.com and Saks' website. I could be catty and yell to Oscar De La Renta to take note, but I won't.
Oh, by the way, yes indeed......she's pretty!
Phonebank away, Little One!

This dress looks somewhat weird. A lot going on - blocked, striped, loose top, tight bottom. Not a fave.

I truly adore that shade of green but as before I am on the fence with the design, the middle bit is somewhat confusing. But honestly, who cares, Mrs Obama looks great wearing anything. I think the most exciting thing for me is knowing that we all have another four years to enjoy the first .

I liked this dress in Hawaii but love it here. It seems vibrant and contrasts well to make her visible in a large crowd.

I always know when her stops include children. She wears the brightest and most mixed up patterns on almost all of her stops that include the little ones. Love it - she pulls it off - as always

What a beautiful dress! The fit is great and the draping is beautiful. It's a stark contrast and big improvement over the too-tight turquoise dress posted a few days ago. THIS is how she should be dressing!

I thought this site was about fashion not politics--yet I see all these political comments. The green is lovely, the fit is better--but do not care for all the horizontal lines created by the frequent change of fabrics. Her height enables her to pull it off better than a person of lesser height. Could have lost the black and white horizontal lines at the hip and the look would have been greatly improved in my opinion.

She looks fabulous! Four more years!!!!!!! Obama 2012. Mae, this is about fashion and so what if those of us who support this administration get "carried away" on occasion. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Perhaps they only talk fashion on Mrs. R's site. Oh wait, she does not have one.

You mad, mae?

Mae, if you follow this site you will learn that only pro-Obama political comments are allowed. You will be bullied if you comment otherwise.

Mae, you won't be bullied, but you better believe you will be set straight. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Tsk, tsk, oh Nyon thanks for setting everything straight....;)
