Christmas in Washington

The first lady celebrated at the "Christmas in Washington" concert this past Sunday wearing a blush Byron Lars frock (previously seen in 2010, here) paired with a House of Lavande vintage jeweled belt. Mrs. O is putting a fresh spin on her holiday hues this year!

The "Christmas in Washington" special, also starring Diana Ross and Chris Mann, will air Friday, December 21 at 8/7C on TNT.

I believe this is my first post to this site. I have been visiting this site for about 3 yrs & admiring the many photos of FLOTUS; I check in frequently especially when she has participated in an event. The First Family is such an American family. I watched a short video of this photo opp and it was clear that PBO was initially unsure how to greet the 'elves' - those adorable children. But then decided to hug them all. And Sasha & Malia are truly the tweens - unsure also & probably would prefer to be somewhere else. Anyway, I just find The First Family so relatable. I LOVE our First Family. Am looking forward to watching 'The Girls' grow into beautiful young women; especially, Miss Malia being college-age at the end of PBO's term. And, of course, it goes w/o saying: our FLOTUS looks gorgeous, as usual!

No matter what kind of day I'm having, all it takes is a picture of my favourite family to cheer me up. What's there not to like ? They all look simply sensational.

Satin is gorgeous on Mrs. O – she’s always glowing anyway and the sheen
from the dress emphasizes her velvety skin and beautiful complexion.
Perfect belt-style around her 'waist' – completes the look. Dianna Ross
looks fabulous. First time I’ve seen her in years.

@ Jestina, I agree, they are a beam of light and hope and brighten
Our days.

Both Sasha and Malia are absolutely gorgeous -- does anyone notice, however, how "regal" Sasha looks? Wow!!! What an incredible beauty -- something so special there, I think... (of course, who could be surprised at this given her incredible genetics...)
