I love they way they presented the First Lady in this clip. She always has such great style. Love how she is so comfortable in her skin. Makes me want to buy the book. Maybe this will take away the negativity of that "other" book...
I believe CBS might have the other half, but I'm not sure. There is more of the interview tomorrow on the show. Today she addressed the book and I think she was very candid about her feelings. She stated what some of us here said, that people have been trying to paint her as the "angry black woman" since the day the President announced. And all that she can do is continue to be her and hopefully people will see the truth and for those that don't, she can't worry about them. I love this lady even more and I didn't think it was possible, but it is. She kept it 100 as always.
I just love Mikki Taylor's enthusiasm when she talks about FLOTUS fashion! Roland Martin has never been shy about his crush on our Michelle, so this interview is especially delightful. This book sold out at the Barnes and Nobles near my house. Amazon has it in stock for $17.99 with free shipping! I just ordered three, two will be gifts.
I just admire how she just gets on with the business at hand with detractors in tow, and still inspire so many of us on so many levels. She is the real deal! As Nyon says.....100 as always!
i've got a book or 2 that discusses the fashion of FLOTUS, but this one would definitely be great to add to my collection. totally would not have expected this interview to be conducted by Roland Martin. after all, he is a guy lol! but i guess he knows good fashion on a great woman when he sees it. :-)

Now here's a book worth supporting and promoting! Didn't know about it, but will be ordering a copy now.

wow i never knew mrs. o was the FIRST first lady to repeat her clothing. I thought others did that also. That says a lot....
I posted this on the other thread, but thought I would bring it over here too.
If you missed the show this morning, here's the first half of the interview:

Now THAT's classy! And so right on about style vs. fashion. Thank you.

Mrs. O interview with Gayle King on CBS news. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94rKbOzTFW4&feature=player_embedded
Great interview and the book Commander in Chic looks and sounds like a wonderful read.

That is a beautiful dress Mrs. Obama wore for the Gayle King interview. Can we get some information about it?
Thanks for posting. I love Mikki Taylor and Roland Martin...
