In the News

A round-up of today's headlines pertaining to the first lady:
- A Quinnipiac University poll asked voters to rate leaders from 0 to 100 degrees on a "feeling thermometer," with the highest numbers reflecting the warmest feelings. At the top? Mrs. O of course! The first lady earned a score of 60.1, ahead former President Clinton (59.2), Chris Christie of New Jersey (57) and President Obama (56.5). A question: with such widespread popularity, do you think Mrs. O would ever consider a run for political office? [USA Today]
- The president and first attended a parent-teacher conference for their daughter Sasha at Sidwell Friends school in Washignton, D.C. today. [Daily Mail]
- Tickets for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, scheduled for Monday, April 25, will become available via an online lottery that begins this Thursday, March 10 at 12:01am. [Washington Post]
- Rumors are rampant that Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen - a Mrs. O favorite, as we know - will design Kate Middleton's wedding dress. [On the Runway]
Hope everyone is having a great start to the week!

She is so sweet with all of those children.
Ha! I was thinking this earlier this evening while at your FB page. I somehow think that she and her family have had their fill of public life after this four and quite possibly the next four. So, after all of this, she will possibly settle into doing lectures and writing books.
I totally agree that she will lectures, write books, and work as an activist. I'm sure she would be able to make more headway without all of the critics.
I doubt Mrs. O would consider politics. After these last few years and possibly the next four I think she would like to go about her life quietly.
How about those blue shoes and fabulous blue bag that absolutely lit up the black outfit she
wore to school! Delightful!
Hey @babs I too had a parent-teacher conference today....hmmm, how could have put a similar look together...:) She did look nice babs.
