Let's Move in Duro Olowu

Photo by Gerald Herbert / AP Images

Mrs. O was in New Orleans, Louisiana yesterday, where she visited the Royal Castle Child Development Center to visit children and promote Let's Move. While in New Orleans, the First Lady also spoke at a DNC fundraiser. On the fashion front, Mrs. O paired a Duro Olowu printed top with navy trousers. You may recognize the top from here.

Another vibrant photo of Mrs. O in action! She inspired me to take up hula-hooping (I was totally useless at it at school, but those weighted hoops are much easier to work!) so I guess I'm completely signed up to Let's Move!

I really like the vibrant color of the shirt...it looks great with her skin.

This woman never stops! She can run and jump with the young and old and still look stylish. I love how Duro has such unique prints and he mixes them well.
That's our Michelle!

I love seeing her with children. There is a great picture of her holding a baby in this outfit in the Huffington Post article. It is lovely. Nice to see her out on the campaign trail.

Id recognize this lovely top from anywhere. Its almost like a signature piece for her at this point. She dresses it up and dresses it down and it looks beautiful on her each time she wears it. The pattern and colors always look so pretty on her skin tone. I like that she visited New Orleans. Even if there was a political agenda involved. Its always great to see her with the little ones. I always feel like it gives us a glimpse into how she probably was with Malia and Sasha when they were little. In my mind, she was a fun and playful, yet stern no-nonsense, mom.
