Mrs. O on AOL Health

For those who miss their daily dose of the first lady, have a peek at the video above, in which Mrs. O discusses the inspiration behind Let's Move with Jennifer Fields of AOL Health. For the video interview, the first lady wears a coral colored sheath dress with diagonal seam detailing, accented by a magnificent vintage brooch at the neckline. Thank you to the reader who suggested the video last week!

Update: Mrs. O wears a dress by Jason Wu!

Hey, here is audio from yesterday with Mrs. O on a conference call with nurses discussing the affordable care act. I believe the dress she is wearing in the pic is the one from when she gave a tour of the White House kitchen. I think it is Jason Wu, but I'm not sure. I'm sure Mrs. T will be able to confirm if it is or not.

This interview is wonderful. I was particularly impressed with Mrs. O's knowledge of the dilemma facing schools regarding physical education and the whole student. She reminds us that our physical well being is directly connected to our mental well being. She is correct that physical education needs to be treated as a pleasure and not a dreaded period in the school day. At the school where I taught, yoga, a school garden, recipe testing, and including the garden produce into the cafeteria meals were givens.

Kudos to Mrs. O for her insights and her dedication to this effort. Health is key to our lives. She is so right that adult role modeling of good health and eating practices is essential.

PS - Her outfit is smashing! I love the way the brooch plays off the apples on the book shelf!

FLOTUS is very knowledgeable on the issues. I read an article in July that said she has a huge say in what goes on in the West Wing.

I just love and admire this lady so much for her kindness, warmth and commitment to these issues. As a Mum of two daughters I have to admit she is my role model in hopefully becoming a better parent. But hey got to rememeber this is afashion blog as well so must add that she looks great in that sheath, the colour is lovely on her and the brooch adds just the right amount of interest and sparkle.

That was great. I hope folks check out the interview and not just look at her clothes.

I loved that I could tell the reporter was nervous. Cute.

This was really a cute video, that interviewer was really good (even though nervous) asked some thoughtful questions. I love this tangerine color on our Michelle and her make-up was flawless. I like how the grey dress the young lady wore looks so FLOTUSish, good one.
