Bold One Shoulder

First Lady Mrs. O arrived in Marbella, Spain today, where she kicked off her vacation with a walk through the town's center. For the tour, Mrs. O wore a one-shoulder top by Jean Paul Gaultier, slim black pants, classic black sunglasses and a stack of beaded bracelets.
This isn't the first time we've seen Mrs. O in a bold one-shoulder style. You can see another chic example just below this post!

Not a nice look for her - meaning the style of the top. It's dips too low in the front on her right side. Usually her casual outfits are very smart but this one doesn't do anything for her.

I love this fashionable look. Walking the streets of Spain with that top, hoop earrings, bracelets and shades is just totally 'classy'. @Gail for my personal taste and what I would where, the top is too low in the front for me. But I still love the top and would definitely wear it to the beach or on a date with my hubby or even just out with the girls....not to church though.
Oh my wow this is further motivation that I need to push me through my body aching workouts in the gym. It is hard and it hurts but to look like her it will be all worth it. That blouse is a total knock out she is a total hottie.

I can see why Mrs. Obama is on the best dressed list again this year. This choice is one of my favorites. The top just jumps out at you . She is so put together and she truly knows what looks good on her. She looks as relaxed as always and I wish her every joy as she enjoys her vacation.Tres chic.

I actually think she looks too glamorous, too flashy for a First Lady, especially in current economic times. If she lost the ten or so bracelets and the bold hoop earrings, it might be more appropriate. There's a bit of "Let them eat cake" in this outfit, which is insulting.
FLOTUS looks hot!! She walks with confidence and grace, which I love.
Love Michelle Obama. Love the earrings, sunglasses, jewelry, but NOT the top. I think the mother daughter trip to Spain is wonderful. She is an excellent first lady. Representing the U.S., mothers, daughters, wifes, all of us well! Proud. Proud. Proud.

I wonder if, as Secret Service, can he ever get excited about the trips? Can TBG tell his friends "yay! we're going to Spain!" Or does he have to be super-serious all the time. Poor guy.
"Not a nice look for her..."?!!? Are you serious? She looks like an ultra-cool euro tourist. LOL Love it.
Remember - this is merely a snapshot. A frozen moment in time. Yes, you can see the slightest fraction of an inch of clevage. More like a shadow. But, perhaps, the photo was taken at an inopportune moment when the top just happened to scootch down a hair. No doubt, if someonone followed any of us night and day, constantly taking our photo, something might not look exactly right.
She's on a private vacation. It's not her fault the paps are going crazy. She's not on catwalk ... she's walking outdoors, jostling crowds, sweating and waving. She's not a freakin' paper doll. Give her a break.

I love everything...EXCEPT the top. Somehow, it looks ill fitting to me...like it's gonna fall off. I don't think it's very flattering. But other than that, I love the sunglasses, the pants, the bracelets.

Mrs. O is just sooo COOL! I love all the other beautiful adjectives that you guys come up with, but when I see her, I just think about how cool she is. Who would have thought we would have a COOL FL (and President, I might add) I love her top and I love that she chose to wear it.

Yes, TBG looks serious 99% of the time. I saw one picture where his lips were curled up into a smile. But I thought maybe he twitched and they happen to catch him in an almost smile. LOL They have a serious job to do. Must stay focused. ;)

I was not thinking he was in his 20's. I was thinking mid to late 30's. Some pics I've seen, I was even thinking early 40's. But I'm awful at guessing ages. POTUS definitely has some older men in his detail. I would think Mrs.O's primary agent would be out of his 20's. Someone with experience.
Love todays pics of Mrs.O and Sasha. Sasha is such a cutie pie. Loved Sasha's sandals. Not crazy about the black sandals that cover the sides of Mrs.O's feet.
