These are my least favorites. Not her best look. Too old looking!

Ha ha, I wonder who buys those dresses at their full price?

Perspective on Moschino: The white Big Bow Blouse that Mrs. Obama wore many times last year retailed for $895 on the Moschino website - and it was only cotton.

As for the clothes featured above, they are OK but not anything special. Not at all fashion forward (whatever that really means in a world where everything is pretty much derived from something that went before). But does everything have to be "fashion forward"? I don't think so.

I believe the website where these are being offered (and may already be gone) was featured in last Sunday's Los Angeles Times "Image" section. Subscribers to the site can grab an item but can only hold it for a short while before checking out and paying for it - otherwise it goes back on the "sale rack" and someone else can grab it.

BeeGee, Gilt Groupe is essentially an online sample sale. It has a huge cult following. I have heard of people refusing to take Noon meetings, as that's when the daily sales begin.

I think my favorite is the suit in the middle. I like it better worn as seperates, when put together it's a bit much. Yes, Moschino is pricey (which is relative) and I've seen some of their pieces online at yoox.com. The sales are phenomenal and even Moschino's online boutique will offer good sales a few times a year. I don't feel it's my business to judge how people spend their money. If they can afford it, then so be it. So if anyone can spend $800+, good for them!

I like all three pieces on display although like Posh I prefer when the middle outfit is worn as seperates rather than a suit. I love the green dress that she wore to Cinco de Mayo as well.

As for taste and price. To each their own. Michelle came from humble beginnings and worked hard to become a successful lawyer earning a salary that affords her expensive clothes (even if those clothes don't appeal to us ). She is an inspiration to aspiring young people. Study and work hard so that you don't have to feel resentful and envious when someone can blow $800 of THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY on something that you wouldn't bulk at.

I don't care for the print looks above. In my opinion, the print is old-fashioned and the cut of that suit is not flattering.

My comment about the price of the blouse was marked "perspective on Moschino" and was in response to Stacey's comment immediately above it. We know that designers' prices are all over the map. It was intended to give a small clue.

What Mrs. O spends is her business.
