First Lady Mrs. O attended a "Women of Distinction" luncheon as part of the G20 Summit in Toronto today, pictured above with Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette. For the event, Mrs. O wore a metallic brocade jacket and sunny yellow top.
Update: The first lady's ensemble is Rachel Roy.

I loooooove the color of Mrs. O's ensemble. It makes that beautiful brown girl glow like no other! The figure skater is a beauty too. Aaaah! If only i was a beauty. LOL!

I'm always taken by how our beautiful first lady physically embraces others with a genuine warmth and joy that can be seen, as in this photo, no matter what she is wearing!
That said, I love what she is wearing. She is especially radiant in yellow.

Love the yellow. I'm not really a fan of brocade, it tends to be too heavy and awkward for my taste. This looks light and airy and the colors work well together.I did not think yellow would look good with silver, but it does here. From what I can see, this is a nice outfit. I love the pearls, they can punch up any outfit.
When I saw it, I thought of Rachel Roy. I was tickled to find out that it is her. Good looking out @ Chrystelle, you're always on your game.
Ooooo, rich ensemble, wonderful on Mrs O and her fierce arched eyebrows - yay! Although I have to say, the thing that really jumped out at me was the necklace Joannie Rochette was wearing! That's lovely.
I so admire Joannie Rochette. She is a young woman who is not just strong physically, but spiritually as well. Not many could have carried on as bravely as she did, and in the process become top-tier as well.
