Weekend Retreat

The Os are off to enjoy a weekend away in Asheville, North Carolina. Mrs. O looked every bit the part of a chic traveler, wearing basic black with accents of neon green and blue to board Marine One.
Hope everyone (including the first couple) is having a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. O looks sooo damn chic. I love the splash of color with her flat shoes. I really like the all black ensemble being only eccentuated with the splash of color. Mrs. o always wears all black so well. I really wish the electric blue flats were only the splash of color. I find the tote/ purse she is carrying a distraction. She looks great and they look so in love!
Mrs. T will you be posting a front view of the outfit? It is even much better from the front.
Mrs.O never cease to amaze me..Love the look, very comfortable for travel yet nice. Actually the accents of te neon green bag and blue shoes is "very Mrs.O.
I hope they enjoy their weekend getaway from Washington.
I am wondering if that bag is Tory Burch. We can't quite see the emblem on the side but it looks like it. Meanwhile, great color accents! A perfect travel outfit.
And the chunky bangles! Oh gawd ... she was shutting it down for me. So chic and modern I'm running out of words to express my admiration.

Mrs. Obama is Paris chic! A beautiful couple holding hands and looking good. That's what it's all about at the end of the day, as they leave for their get-a-way!

A well-deserved weekend away indeed, and here's hoping they are left well alone to enjoy it and each other.
This President has got to be the hardest working ever but don't tell the raucous wicked few who not only refuse to acknowledge this, but are hell-bent on destroying him and this country with their malicious & hateful ways.
May God who in His infinite wisdom bestowed the office of President & first lady of these United States upon this utterly brilliant, remarkable & dignified man and his magnificent wife continue to abundantly bless, guide, protect, defend, instruct, fulfill and honor them both as they diligently bring this country back to its gloriously decent best. Amen.

The president sure gets a lot of mileage out of that navy blue polo shirt. That must drive the Mrs. crazy when he puts that on yet again. Sometimes you just have to grin and bear it when you're dealing with men.

You can't go wrong with all an black casual outfit and this one is right on target. It's casual with a little flirty playfullness in the cardi. I like how our Michelle adds a little punch of color with her bag and her flats. But most of all, I hope this mini break is an enjoyable retreat for our President and First Lady.
So glad they were able to get away. I was wondering where were they kids several media outlets have reported that the kids were left behind in D.C., the trip was meant as a getaway for couples. The first couple, the Nesbitts and the Whitakers seems pretty cool. I found a link of one of Mrs. O's outfits I like it.

The blue shoes are terrific. Mrs. O will probably debut all sorts of flats and shoes in summery colors as the days go by.

Have fun. What a look? All I can say is keep on people. Still so very proud of them. Fist lady is making a statement. I love her so much. Some first ladies over due it. This is a picture of beauty and style it keeps getting better and better.

Hi chrystelle, June 26 is indeed the big day! I have been busy with final details, and I must confess, a bit distracted. I never realized how much work putting together a wedding would be! My photographer will probably post photos on her own blog. When it's up, I will share the link with you if you like!
