A Christmas Message

Above the President and First Lady deliver a Christmas message in a rare joint video appearance. Mrs. O wears a Calvin Klein Collection cowl neck dress last seen on the cover of Ladies' Home Journal, here, paired with Kara Ross NY earrings. Great to see Mrs. O getting such mileage out of her fancier frocks! Hope the First Family is have a restful holiday and very Merry Christmas ... and the same to you!

Class and charm. Defined and embodied. "Nuf said."

Wait one minute, did the Queen talk about sports and parks and EXERCISE in her Christmas message. It was the theme of the entire speech.

At about 3:15 that is exactly what she says. It warmed my heart. Just saying......

How lovely to see them together. The dress like most of her wardrobe is outstanding, but seeing them together is a real thing of beauty. They hold hands like young lovers, surely a relationship we could all emulate. Don't just talk about love. Show it too. That is the message I get.
Thanks Mrs T for making this site a special place for all of your followers who just adore this happy and hardworking couple.

This photo makes the dress look blue and his suit also blue. In the video, her dress looks green likewise on the cover photo and his suit looks brown. Nice looking couple either way.

Jaylanie, thanks for the link. I've seen other photos that make her dress look wrinkled. This photo clearly shows it to be part of the fabric. Interesting dress. They clearly seem to be enjoying the troops. So good to see them in a relaxed setting after so much commotion during the past two years.

Yes, from the LHJ cover and the HD video it looks like this dress is a blue-green color, not sapphire blue as it appears in the still above. She reminds me of a modernized Diana Ross in so many ways. Gotta say, though, not feeling the lip liner. Nice color palette for the make up overall, though.

Classy, charming, awe-inspiring -- just downright too cute together! My hope and belief in love is renewed each time I see these two together.

Wishing them, and all of you all the best in the new year!

The beautiful blue and white dress worn to church is the dress Mrs. O wore to leave Airforce 1 on arrival in Mexico. A lovely dress, for sure.
Happy New Year to all,

Char from Seattle

I lOVE President and Mrs. Obama's message. I am so proud of our first family and the passion they have for our country - especially our men and women in service. Both look Fab!
