Happy Hanukkah

Image by Saul Loeb / Getty Images

The President and First Lady hosted a Hanukkah celebration in the East Room of the White House tonight. For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a blue sequin cardigan by L'Wren Scott, seen here, embellished with a vintage brooch at the collar. Gorgeous!

Dress looks like Oscar De la Renta, is it? Love the earrings. Also the hair.

@Mrs C,
Isn't this the reason Republicans are giving tax cut to the rich, so they spend it on $3000.00 sweaters?
I do not get it,the rich are getting a tax cut, but we have a problem when they spend it , where do we expect them to spend their tax cut, shop at walmart?

I doubt the dress is Oscar De La Renta after what he said about her. Someone on another blog said it might be a Badgely Michcka.

This is a nice look on our Michelle. I like how she mixed three different, dark shades together. I seriously doubt that I would have the courage to do this previously. I think on me it would look convoluted, but it sure won't keep me from trying this. I like how she inspires you to take a chance a be playful with your wardrobe. If it's a hit, then it's a hit. If it misses, then it misses. No harm, no foul. We will all live another day. I wonder who designed these seperates. Anyone have an idea?
