Peter Soronen Sample Sale

Thought a few of you might enjoy this! Peter Soronen is the design genius behind several of the first lady's most glamourous looks, including the purple chiffon gown Mrs. O recently wore for the Kennedy Center Honors. There are sure to be treasures found at this sample sale!

If I were a sample size, I would SO be there.
Oh how this makes me nostalgic for my size 2 figure and NYC. My girlfriend and I used to religiously scour the papers and notice boards for sample sales.
Unfortunately, I live in FL now and am a size 8 :(. NYC has change too, though. The clothing district is not what it used to be. In fact, there isn't much of a clothing district left in NYC. Most clothes are now made in China and Thailand and those places, so not too many great sample sales in NYC any more.
peter is very talented. i love how Mrs.O has put Chicago-based designers on the map.
Mrs.T, in ur next book, can u please try to find out which skin care the first lady use? god i would give my left arm to know what she uses. her skin is just luscious.

No, totally stumped!
I'm taking bets! I say Mrs. O will go with another sheath dress tonight (3/4 length sleeve). Something in a bold hue!! Kitten heeled shoes for comfort. Hair will be whimsical (lots of swoops and light curls). Make up that highlights but remains natural.
Oh, she looks beautiful. She has on a gorgeous satin purple ensemble. A purple satin coat with a matching dress underneath. (I think the top of the dress/suit may not be purple.) But from first glance, I'm in heaven, I'm in heaven.
Mrs. O looks magnificent tonight leaving the WH for the SOTU in a plum dress and matching coat!! WOW!

went to the sample sale and he had a lot of fabulous things. I bought a shirt that I am very excited to wear to work tomorrow.
Peter was there greeting guests (as he was sewing mind you), and he and his staffers after I told them I heard about the sample sale from this site all said they LOVEEEEE Mrs-o.org and read the site religiously!! Go Mrs. T!!!

The blouse is a fabulous button up slightly sheer grey long sleeve with exaggerated puffy cuffs. Its fabulous, I love it!!
