Inside the Designer's Studio with Maria Pinto - Tonight!

We hope you'll join us tonight at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum for a Q&A with Chicago designer Maria Pinto.

Not only will you have an opportunity to learn more about Maria Pinto's background and design ethos, you'll also have a chance to admire the Paulette II dress (show above) firsthand, worn by Mrs. O on her first trip to the White House in November 2008 and again this September. Following the Q&A, will be a book signing for "Mrs. O: The Face of Fashion Democracy", and a chance to explore the Cooper-Hewitt's Design USA exhibit. We hope to see you there!

What: Inside the Designer's Studio with Maria Pinto

Where: The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, 5th Avenue @ 91st St.

When: Tuesday, November 10, 6:30PM

Registration: $15 for general admission, here.

she was a really fun interviewee, wasn't she! good job, mary! i asked the question about her relationship to color... i do love her commitment to vibrant jewel tones and can't wait to visit her boutique next time i'm in chi-town.

Wonderful! Thank you both Mrs. A and Glenise for attending! What a thrill and great crowd. Maria Pinto is incredibly personable ... and funny! I hope you both enjoyed.

PS: Mary 'Mrs. T' was wearing a dress that I would swear was designed by Mr. Soronen. Hope there are pics to share with everyone of that lovely frock.

I thought Maria Pinto's statement that "timing is all" is so true. Whether it is us, as artists looking for inspiration or as business people looking for the next step for our business, the timing of events can make all the difference!
