The president and first lady attended the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's 33rd Annual Awards Gala at the Washington Convention Center this evening. For the event, Mrs. O wore a bronze-gold cocktail dress, accessorized with bejeweled circular earrings and gold open-toe heels. Fabulous!

On Wednesday, Mrs. O continued her push for "Let's Move," delivering remarks on childhood obesity at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.

For the conference, the first lady wore a white sleeveless dress, chock-full of details. The white fabric is textured with a spray of embossed navy dots, and further embellished with embroidered pink and white flowers. The dress also features an illusion neckline, created by a sheer overlay that covers the strapless bottom layer of the bodice. If only we could see more!

The first lady is giving a major push to her "Let's Move!" initiative this week. Today Mrs. O delivered remarks during a Hispanic Heritage Month event at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. For the speech, the first lady wore a bronze and navy dotted tie-front silk taffeta shirt dress, paired with blue pumps for an extra pop of color.

First Lady Mrs. O delivered remarks at the National Restaurant Association's fall board meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC today, with a focus on her "Let's Move" initiative. Per the Wall Street Journal, Mrs. O outlined menu changes she hopes to see in the restaurant industry: 

“I’m not asking any of you to make drastic changes to every single one of your recipes or to totally change the way you do business. But what I am asking is that you consider reformulating your menu in pragmatic and incremental ways to create healthier versions of the foods that we all love. That could mean substituting wheat pasta for white pasta in your regular recipes, or taking … an existing dish and cutting the amount of butter or cream.”

Service and a Statement Tee

The first lady is a fan not only of Tom Binns statement jewelry, but of his t-shirts, too, it seems. After an appearance in Pennsylvania this morning, Mrs. O marked the National Day of Service and Remembrance by volunteering at the Vinson Hall Retirement Community in McLean, Virginia. There she got to work, paintbrush in hand, wearing a Tom Binns x John Eshaya t-shirt paired with cropped black pants and Converse sneakers. Oh Mrs. O, you never cease to amaze!

The Tom Binns x John Eshaya t-shirt collaboration was announced earlier this year, pairing prints of the famed jewelry designer's "Get Real" necklaces with Mr. Eshaya's super soft rayon tees. You can see more designs from the collaboration here.
