On a Roll

Photo by Chip Somodevilla / Getty Images

Today marks a highly anticipated White House event: the annual Easter Egg Roll, of course. The first lady wore a fabulous grey and yellow floral frock to oversee the festivities, which included not only the egg roll, but also story time, crepe-flipping and a performance by Willow Smith.

Update: Mrs. O wears a Spring 2011 Safflower Dress by Tracy Reese.

Happy Easter

Official White House Photo by Pete Souza

The Obama family celebrated Easter at Shiloh Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. today. On a fashion note, re-wearing was a prominent theme. Mrs. O wore a silk plisse, ikat print dress by Thakoon, first seen in September 2009 for the G-20 summit, here. Sasha Obama wore a hand-me-down dress borrowed from her older sister! The pink lace dress was worn by Malia Obama on the final night of the DNC in 2008, seen below. Cute!

Time and Time Again

Photo by Kevin Mazur/WireImage for Time Inc., 2009

Mrs. O has been named to the Time 100 for 2011. The first lady is heralded for the healthy eating revolution she's led with "Let's Move" in a piece penned by Jamie Oliver for the special issue. Many will recall that the First Lady was first named to the Time 100 in 2009 (seen above). Congratulations to Mrs. Obama!

Must Read: Maria Cornejo

I thoroughly enjoyed this new Huffington Post interview with designer Maria Cornejo -- one of Mrs. O's favorites, as we know! -- and think you will too. Maria Cornejo offers such a refreshing point of view in the world of fashion.
