Easter Sunday Best

The First Family attended Easter service at St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. this morning. On the fashion front, Mrs. O re-wore a dress that might look familiar to some. The Thakoon pixelated floral jacquard dress was paired with a coordinating coat for the famous "fashion face-off" with Carla Bruni-Sarkozy in April 2009, here. For today's outing, the First Lady updated the look with a cropped black cardigan and pink Schreiner pin. This is the second year in a row that Mrs. O has worn a Thakoon dress for Easter Sunday.

Kids' Choice 2012

The First Lady, joined by her daughters Malia and Sasha, appeared at the Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, CA last night. Mrs. O was on hand to present Nickelodeon's Big Help Award to Taylor Swift in honor of her philanthropic endeavors. On the style front, the First Lady wore a sparkly houndstooth patterned tunic, paired with slim metallic pants. Signature kitten heels in black patent leather completed the look.

Update #1: Mrs. O wears Wes Gordon above, adding a new young American designer to her style repertoire!

Update #2: Per US Weekly, Mrs. O wears Helmut Lang foil wash jeans. Both Obama girls wear ASOS.

Garden Party

For the fourth year and counting, the First Lady hosted the annual White House kitchen garden planting today. Girl Scouts and students from around the country joined Mrs. O for what has become a spring ritual. For the event, Mrs. O was casual in cropped black pants, a melon hued tee and black jacket.
