Mrs. O on the Move

The first lady has been on the move in promoting her "Let's Move" initiative this past week. On Thursday, February 28, Nike announced that it will spend $50 million on the “Let’s Move Active Schools” effort over the next five years. On the same day, Mrs. O exercised with children from Chicago Public Schools in her hometown of Chicago, IL, later traveling to Springfield, MO, where she spoke at a Walmart Neighborhood Market. Earlier in the week, Mrs. O appeared in Clinton, MS alongside Rachael Ray. On the style front, Mrs. O embraced a range of fashion, from athletic wear to a pinstripe suit!
Update: In the first picture in this series, Mrs. O wears a lululemon athletica Forme Jacket *Brushed in Love Red/Deep Coal, available here (thanks reader Sandy). In the third picture, Mrs. O wears a J.Crew Lightweight merino cardigan and shell with neon trim, available here.

So amazing! Love her. And she looks super healthy!
What happened to a photo of her outfit on Dr Oz? Truly an amazing blend of colors, textures and styles...
That pin-striped suit is to die for--so beautiful on her! Also, she had on a striking outfit on the Dr. Oz show last week--really wanted to see/learn more about that one. Yes, Mrs. T our First Lady was a busy lady last week!
all different....and all interesting..
all different....and all interesting..
She rocked them all!
Thank you for the update. Any idea who these outfits are by?
Let's move!
Umph, umph, umph...the First Lady has it ALL: Brains. Beauty. And Body. President Obama is one lucky man to have her as a life partner. And I definitely feel lucky (and proud!) that she is our First Lady.
P.S. Forget the beautiful dresses and gorgeous gowns for a time; I want to see Mrs. O. in more active wear!
This is not just for kids. I'm 3 weeks shy of 62 and today I started moving with the hope that I will shed 30 pounds permanently. I don't know that I will be as lean as Mrs. O but she sure is an inspiration. Let's move!
Hey ladywatcher, all the best to you with your efforts to shape up. You can do it!
Our FLOTUS, working what she's got so inspirationally and publicly, to help others, whether it's her fashion looks, her bully pulpit, or writing her own (unforgettable) convention speech. Lucky us, to have her as Flotus. Luckier family, to have her always.
Mrs. Obama does look "super healthy" and young! Am I the only one who hates those thick bangs? She looks like she's peering out of a thicket.
The tech jacket (called the Forme Jacket)is from Canadian yoga/workout maker Lululemon. It's on sale right now on their website :-)
It's been a minute since I posted. I missed my Mrs.O community.
Anyway, just a quick hello and FLOTUS is still fierce!
I'm so in awe of her that I am dreading January 2017. I wonder if she will continue with a public career ??
Welcome back, CID!
Didn't mean to post twice!
I've always imagined Mrs. O with her own talk show. Maybe a possibility after the second term? Hmmm!
I am so "fired up" by the energy from all of the posts on this page. Thank you! I am 65 and also trying to move more. I wish there had been a "Mrs. O" when I was a fat little kid. Best wishes to all!
Hey Dr. Cheryl, its a "new day" you keep movin'!
I love the lululemon jacket.
I LOVED the J Crew ensemble!! but I would like to know about the gorgeous rose flower pin that she was wearing while on the Rachel Ray cook off??? Thay just set the tone for the whole outfit!!!! anyone know where that came from?
Thank you for all of your great posts on our amazing First Lady. I always look forward to them. ;)
