In the Mix

On Friday, October 11, First Lady and President Obama, joined by their daughter Malia, met with Malala Yousafzai in the Oval Office. Ms. Yousafzai is the young Pakistani student who was shot by the Taliban a year ago. She recently published here story in a new book, "I Am Malala," available here.
For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a magenta print dress featuring a high neckline.
Update: The First Lady wears the Tracy Reese Cowl Frock in Black Magenta, available here.
First Lady Michelle Obama also joined President Obama to honor former U.S. Army Captain William Swenson, a verteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, with the Medal of Honor in the East Room of the White House last Tuesday, October 15.
For the ceremony, Mrs. O turned to a familiar dress: the Reid dress by Rachel Roy, first seen in June 2009, here.

Mrs. Obama radiates in one of our favorite styles from the fall collection, as seen on Mrs-o.com. Want FLOTUS style? Our cowl frock is available here: http://goo.gl/Xw7bdP
So have I Eleroy. A new family portrait should be released soon.
Also, mark your calendar! On February 14, 2014, Mrs. O will be the featured First Lady on C-SPAN! Check your local listings for the air times.
I've learned so much more about the First Ladies who came before Lady Bird Johnson from these episodes on C-SPAN.
The magenta dress is Tracy Reese. Your webpage is posted on the Tracy Reese Facebook page.
The First Lady looks divine. Love the Tracy Reese dress, and the C-Span First Lady series is a much watch.
Mrs Obama looks beautiful in both dresses. In the magenta print dress featuring a high neckline, she gives it definition. On the model the dress looks awful and I would not give it a second look. She brings elegance to the design. The dress is so appropriate for the occasion. Thanks Mrs T.
EVERYTHING THAT IS SWEET, beautiful and confident shows in this nicely draped fabric. Made for her height and figure and seems absolutely comfy. I think a great style to be repeated in all seasons. Missed Mrs. O’s fashion blog.
I love the First Lady! She is the best thing that ever happened to this country, and the White House! She is the best! God bless her.
Love that Rachel Roy!
