Saluting the Summer Athletes

The president and first lady hosted a reception to honor the 2012 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams on the South Lawn of the White House today. For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a turquoise sheath dress paired with a multi-colored beaded necklace. Simple and chic as summer comes to an official close.
Update: Mrs. O wears a dress by Narciso Rodriguez.

LOVE this dress!! You can't actually see in this pic, but Mrs. O is wearing some yellow pumps. She believes in her pop of color and you can see it here: http://theobamadiary.com/2012/09/14/an-olympic-effort/
Although the color is vibrant and sets the FLOTUS apart from the Olympians, it is too tight. I see the tendency on her part to wear clothes that are too tight, but this one is worth my first comment. There is nothing attractive about clothes so tight that everyone can discern whether a lady possesses an "innie" or an "outie".
Agree with Lone Star Miss, lovely color but the fit is definitely too tight.
Too darned tight, indeed! I agree with Lone Star Miss that Mrs. O. tends to wear her clothes on the tight side, and I had hoped that she had given up this tendency. Guess I'll keep on hoping.....
Ms. O is sorely in need of a tailor be make sure her garments fit properly.
Also she should consider wearing foundation garments.
@ Nyon, I agree - - the dress is beautiful.
The dress isn't tight.
Maybe the FLOTUS wears tigt or form fitting clothes, to keep the President Obama's attention. It's obvious that he is physically attracted to her. So, she has to keep him happy, lol. Did anyone ever think, he wants her to wear tight clothes, and she's doing that, to please him. She has a nice figure.
Our Michelle can rock a sheath dress like nobody's business. She seems to still be in that blue mode, we've been seeing her in some tone of that color a lot lately. It looks good on her and she looks good in it.
As I said in an earlier attempt to post, the First Lady should not be showing us her belly button through her clothing.
