On the Campaign Trail

The First Lady has returned from London and is back on the campaign trail, making two stops in North Carolina today to rally volunteer support. The effort is part of a lead up to the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina in early September.
In Raleigh, Mrs. O wore a yellow floral Tracy Reese dress (previously seen in April 2011, here) to meet campaign supporters. In Greensboro, Mrs. O wore a navy and white stripe dress for a speech at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Update: Thanks to reader "Nellypoo" who spots Mrs. O's blue and white stripe dress as the BCBGMAXAZRIA Pleated V-Neck Sweater Dress, available here.

Lorene....please! Your comments are teetering on the edge.....Have you ever been invited to the White House?
@LN / emptynester - Mrs. O hasn't had any media-covered appearances since the post above. Yesterday she spoke at private campaign fundraisers in Bethlehem and Upper Darby, PA, but, to my knowledge, there wasn't media coverage. This has been the trend in recent months. I anticipate this will continue through November, though perhaps there will be more public campaigning after the DNC in September. (Update: Since posting my comment, I see a few new photos from the aforementioned events. I will create a new blog post shortly.)
@Lorene, I wasn't invited to the White House - I applied for and received media credentials. I'm not sure I understand where this comment came from, but please know it's not something that concerns me.
Good grief! Thanks for all you do, Mrs. T!!
Mrs. T - we love you and all you do for us!! Do not let the bitebacking naysayers invade your positive karma. For all the negative naysayers - please find your collectively way to other sites!!!
Oh my God! Lorene, are you really comfortable with exposing yourself like this? Really? What purpose do you serve by being rude, crude, crass and classless to Mrs. T and others? You attempt to insult her with your perception (which was incorrect) of an event that happened last year only to end up looking small and foolish.
There's a good quote from the movie, As Good As It Gets where Jack Nicholson's charcter tells the maid, " Go sell crazy somewhere else. We're all stocked up today"! It so applies here.......we're all stocked up today.
Scoot Lorene! Scram! Go back to where you came from. And stay!
Peace.
Thanks for you do Mrs. T!
@ Lorene, receiving a "personal" thank you note from the First Lady of the United States of America is filet mignon, not crumbs.
OAN: There's some sludge balm calling for you on drudge.com; please answer the call quickly.
I am catching up on this site after a self imposed hiatus, knowing that there would be a plethora of paid trolls and unpaid idiots populating the site prior to the election. Ms. T, you have provided those of us who are interested in Mrs. O's sense of fashion with a wonderful venue where we could connect and comment on fashion. Thank you for that. I am not sure how you feel about the trollage, but I for one would not object to you deleting some of these inane comments that serve no purpose other than to slam the Obamas. Love you and your hard work.
