The First Lady campaigned in Westerville, Ohio yesterday wearing a sleeveless shell and aquamarine embroidered skirt, the latter from Talbots, available here and on sale. Mrs. O previously wore the skirt for her American Grown media appearances, seen here, styling the look with pared down accessories for the second outing.

Very nice! The skirt looks much better this go around without the heavy belt. Paired with the silver flats, it's the perfect summer day outfit for the First Lady.

Like others, I prefer this look to the last one. The wide belt worn previously was a bit heavy. I can't wait to see the first lady in London tomorrow at the Olympics Opening ceremony.

Ahhh, much, much better! Without the clunky black belt, necklace, and heels this is so much better! One of my other criticisms last time was that the skirt was really wrinkled (as a wise poster then pointed out, it's linen). However, can't tell if it's wrinkled, but if it is, I give her a pass b/c the flats and no belt work so well! Also, here in Philly, it's BURNING HOT, so I guess it's just as hot in Ohio as well. It's SO hot here that comfort has to triumph style.
I like this look. It's so cool, fresh and lively....God bless Mrs. Obama, God bless our President and God bless the U.S. of A. Obama 2012!!!!!!!!!
