Heat Wave

The First Lady made campaign stops in Orlando, Florida today, rallying supporters at the University of Central Florida. On the the fashion front: a Chris Benz Nelda dress in green and aqua print (previously seen last July, here) paired with a jeweled vintage belt by House of Lavande. Later, Mrs. O paid an unannounced visit to the Blanchard Park YMCA in Orlando, where she wore a floral gathered neck print top paired with white pants. Two fabulous summer looks for the First Lady!
Update: Reader Carmacer has spotted the First Lady's floral top at Zara, available here.

Love this dress!! The color and fit is fabulous.
Gorgeous outfits but the floral top and white pants looks so cool and refreshing. Does anyone know who designed the top ?
Talk about a suprise for those girls in the second photo! They truly look stunned. The colors of the dress are just wonderful....a nice look the first and second time around.
A gorgeous blouse! Even prettier: the excitement and joy among the girls greeting Michelle.
Beautiful prints and colors - very much her style! But my favorite part about these pictures are the surprised looks on the girls' faces!
I love this dress & belt combo!! I must say that Mrs. O's hair has been the bomb lately!! It has so much bounce, volume, and sheen!! I LOVE IT!
That top is super cute and the white pants are actually capri pants and she has on some silver tennis shoes. You can see a full pic here:

On a slightly different note, I love the hug between that little girl and the first lady. Very real and completely unpretentious. I STILL stand my ground when I say that Michelle Obama is the best first lady that America has ever had.
Jestina,
You are so right about the little girl giving Mrs. O a hug. And look at the other girls in the background - they are just thrilled at the First Lady's visit!
Lovely green dress and the belt is fine. Her style is perfect:) Mrs O. seems to treat everybody the same way: tenderly (eg. hug that little girl). Has anybody shown her dresses from Marimekko, Finland?
I attended the Event in Miami yesterday. It was incredibly moving. The First Lady is more gorgeous in person.
@ Adriana, I'm so jealous! :0)
She really is a beautiful woman; I went to see her at a campaign event in Pensacola in 2008; any venue within a five-hour drive from me I'll be there!
The shift dress is such a beautiful fit and the colours really bring out her lovely skin tone. Nice finishing touch with the jewelled belt. It makes such a refreshing change from the wide belts that aren't always flattering to her curves
Great summer looks.
Mrs. O looks so fresh & beautiful... Love how her face just glows! She is a good looking lady with great style!
In so many pictures of Mrs. O, the people around her are just beaming. She must have incredible charisma and charm. She is a national treasure.
I love following this blog on the First Ladies fashion. Will you continue it when she is no longer First Lady? I would really miss not following her style when her husband is no longer in office.
To Whom It May Concern:
President Obama will be reelected and you will be able to continue to enjoy following the fashion of his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, on this webpage as long as Mrs. T decides to keep it up and running.
Good dress for lovely Michelle with her divine legs.
The beautiful floral top is from ZARA, you can see here:

The most beautiful "piece" to every one of her outfits is the smile. Infectious. Those two stunned girls in the background brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. Love this woman and the way she lights up a room by just walking in it.
