Hurricane Sandy

Hello Dear Readers, My apartment building has been under mandatory evacuation order since Monday due to the hurricane. We are safe and sound, just a bit inconvenienced. Unfortunately, I do not have my computer, which makes it difficult to blog. I appreciate your understanding and hope to resume blogging in time for the election. Thinking of all of those affected by the storm. xx Mrs. T
Update (11/5): Thank you all so much for the concern! I truly appreciate your comments. We were able to get back into our apartment tonight and I'll have the blog up and running by tomorrow evening.

Dear Mrs. T, I am also on the East Coast though just outside of Boston. We lost power for a couple of days and had some trees uprooted but just minor inconvenience compared to what has happened in New York and New Jersey. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all those affected by Hurricane Sandy!
Ay, God bless you, ma'am. You've been such a blessing to many, I pray you continue making it wherever you are now and that all is as well as can be when you return home.

Thank you also for showing us more and more of this inspiring family, who have done so much and will do so much to help our world, especially as we face climate change. We love Mrs. O and her husband, and everyone who supports them and reveals their brilliance and beauty. Thanks for being one of those people! Every blessing as life gets back to normal.
Mrs. T, so very sorry to hear how affected you've been. Your site is such an intelligent and witty spot in my day. Don't worry about rushing back to your legion of fans, just take care of yourself and those you love. Hopefully, we'll have something to celebrate in only a few days.
I pray God keep you safe and secure!!!
Hi Mrs. T and all,
I don't usually post but I check this blog often. When I didn't see a recent update I wondered if something happened to Mrs. T. I'm glad you're alive. I hope Jersey Girl is well. I send my prayers to all. Is there anything I can do to help?
Glad to know you r fine Mrs. T. I'll pray for your prompt return to your home. It has been difficult. Slowly but surely towns and neighborhoods r getting power. Pray for those who lost everything.

Prayers to you and your family and hoping a speedy return to your home. Your blog is a wonderful tribute to our First Lady and we appreciate your dedication to it. Blessings always
Hi Mrs T, Glad to know that you are okay. My husband and I left New Jersey just two weeks before the hurricane to reside permanently in the Caribbean. We do have friends and family in NY and NJ but they are all fine. I hope and pray for all those who have been affected by this storm and am deeply concerned about the forecasted Nor'easter. God's blessings and heaps of luck.
Hoping, a donation to the Red Cross is one way to help!
Im so sorry to hear you have not been able to get home. We will keep you in our prayers & thank GOD for keeping you safe.
Be safe Mrs T. We're not worried about the blog. After all, we will be following it until 2016!!
Take care!
All of us who are not in the area can join together to help by donating through your cell phone or through Macy's who will match your donation to help those in dire need.
So sorry to hear this - I trust you will soon be able to return home.
Take care.
