A Sunday Stroll

The Obamas ventured out of the White House yesterday to visit the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. For the outing, Mrs. O wore a Duro Olowu tweed overcoat paired with an orange scarf, a combination last seen at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in December 2011, here. Duro Olowu certainly became one of the first lady's signature designers in 2011 (by my count, Mrs. O wore Duro Olowu on 10 occasions in 2011, second only to Rachel Roy). Can't wait to see what he delivers in 2012!

I know you don't focus on the girls, but Malia's outerwear is intriguing!! Is it a sweater, a coat, a cape? I have to know!! LOLOLOL I saw picture from the back, and I STILL can't figure it out...

Isonprize, it looks like a coat to me with color blocking (not sure if that's the right term)

I love POTUS's casual look, not often seen.

Mrs. O's on a roll! Flickr has a GORGEOUS shot of her at the White House with a young person wearing an skirt-top or dress with an electric blue skirt and bold floral pattern sleeveless top. Wonder who designed that gem? Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/whitehouse/6791946293/.
Get ready for Jay Leno tomorrow night!

Love the family picture. Everyone looks happy and chic, to boot! However, someone PLEASE tell POTUS he's old enough to wear casual shoes with his jeans NOT sneakers. Boat shoes, leather shoes, chukka boots, bucks, penny loafers ... ANYTHING but those old school sneakers (I'm willing to wager it's been a point of discussion among them before).

Just checked out Duro Olawu Spring 2012 collection--there are several dresses/skirts that I would luv to see Michelle wear this spring and summer!

They are such a "fun" family...just doing something any family might do on a Sunday afternoon!!. I love the casual look and relaxed way they appear to be just strolling along. :>) God bless Mrs. Obama, God bless our President, God bless the First family and God bless America.

Are there going to be any photos from the Alfalfa dinner this past Saturday?

Makes me smile to see them looking great but totally normal. Love this family!

@maryann, I believe media is not allowed at the Alfalfa dinner.
