Mrs. O and Dr. B are officially taking Joining Forces on the road. First stop? Camp Lejeune, N.C. for Operation Shower, a celebration for expectant mothers whose husbands are military service members. Later in the afternoon, the ladies appeared in San Antonio, Texas to visit the Warrior and Family Support Center.
For the appearances, Mrs. O wore a Byron Lars striped red lace dress with an embroidered L'Wren Scott cardigan and red flats. Dr. B wore a turquoise sheath dress with an inverted pleat detail at the neckline.

@mszonian 524 AMEN!:)
Maybe one of the things that some people don't like is the mixing of white and off white in this outfit. Notice I said maybe. Well on another site, Huffo, Daylife or Obamadiary you can see that the dress has a grey stripe with a white pattern in it that being picked up in the white sweater. I remember when the rule of thumb was that you'd never mix colors, ie winter white with summer white. Those rules have been gone sooo long and thank the heavens for that!
Anyway, I like it just the way it is. This dress is a nice summer outfit that sure suits this occasion. The robin's egg blue dress brings out the color in Jill Biden's eyes and lights up her face. Maybe it's the rewarding work that she's doing that gives them that glow. Either way, our SLOTUS and FLOTUS are doing a wonderful job and looking mighty awesome doing it.
Go get'em girls!
I like what you said and how you said it, Jestina, These women adore each other, do good work together for our country's good, and could care less what we think of their outfits. Good for them.
Thanks Mrs. T for allowing us this chance to have a SLOTUS fashion show in addition to seeing what our FLOTUS wears - it's fun!
It looks like these ladies collaborated and did a fresh, springtime take on red, white and blue. Mrs. O's shoes pick up the color of the flowers in the cardigan and personally I think she looks approachable and completely appropriate for the occasion, as does Mrs. Biden. Tacky? Hardly.
This post is in response to L. Boyer, this is not the site you should be on, go back to the repug site you strayed from.
