Wow, brights, neutrals and crisp white pants! Gotta' love that mix! On another site it looks like the blouse has a sleeve that we cannot see in this photo. Interesting.
The top only has one sleeve on the obscured side no visible in this photo. Interesting. I saw the full view on a newswire photo.
The perfect end to an amazing fashionable State Visit to South America. How lovely she looks! The coordination of the pants and top complemented by the taupe belt. Nice!!
The length of the top is perfect for her and the color is amazing with the white pants. They make her legs look great. I do wish she wore tops that were fitted at her waist or had a sash/tie in the same fabric so that she could skip the belts. This taupe belt distracts from an otherwise perfect look. Seriously, just put your finger up over the belt and see how much longer and leaner she looks without it. You shouldn't look at an outfit and think, "Hmm, that belt....." That means it's too much. Looks like she chose it to compliment her shoes.
This is so Mrs. O. I love it:)
very sharp!
that top looks like someone made a mistake....but if anyone can pull it off, mrs.o can. we sure have never had a first lady like this!
I love brights colors and neutrals together! It's so modern and chic! Love this outfit!
This has been her best foreign trip fashion yet!! I wasn't a fan of most of the outfits she wore in India, but I could see myself wearing every single thing she's worn on this trip.
She has just been putting together stellar outfits and everything has been on point, without question. From the colors, to the fit, to the variety, to the fact that everything just screams Sping in South America, I love it!
Everything has just been so cohesive. It's like you could take all these outfits and put them in a fashion editorial in Vogue. The clothes have all told the same story. I love it!
@marcelle, hunny this is not the end! we have about three more outfits to go girl! El Salvador here we come! I hope she wears Prada s/s 2011 it would just make me so happy. Can't wait for the official dinner tonight!!!
Are they on their way to El Salvador now ?? Goodie !! I can't wait to see what Michelle will wear to the state dinner tonight. These past few days have been fun and a visual feat for all we Obama fans and maybe a taste of things to come when she visits Britain in May.
As for this blouse - cute and fresh and APPROPRIATE for air travel. Do I recall the pants from the campaign days ?? I believe she wore the ensemble with a string of blue beads. Anyway, I may be wrong but either way the whole Obama family has been great. I've especially loved seeing the girls and marvelling at how fast they have grown. I'm still surpised that the President and First Lady will be doing the Easter Egg Roll next week, they really work hard.
Mrs. O looks stunning!
Check this site for even more pics of the O's recent travels:

Pictures are posted on Yahoo of the El Salvador heads of state meeting. The El Salvadorian Fist Lady is sleeveless and looks very fresh and cool.

Does anyone know of any South American (Brazilian, Chilean) papers that have photo spreads with different pictures. Sometimes they can have different angles. Also are there any video sites. If you have them please share.
She has not abandoned her Chicago designers! :) Some vintage Maria Pinto would brighten my day :) Oh Lord it's 2008 all over again and I have stars in my eyes!

The first family have arrived in El Salvador and Mrs Obama has scored another winner in a beautiful blue dress adorned with another Alexis Bittar pin. The girls look equally adorable. Sasha's little floral dress is cute cute cute.

Like the matching belt and heels. Love the color and v-neck cut of the blouse.
El Salvador arrival pictures - On closer inspection, Sasha's dress looks like a mini version of the Peter Soronen dress that her mother wore to church in 2009, I could be wrong but the print is gorgeous.

The blue print dress she wore to step down in El salvador is one of the nicest!!!
Mrs. O's ability to work her colors around the context in which her pictures are taken is absolutely uncanny! Even to the door frame of the plane, as seen with the striped number in the previous post!
This top and belt combination is awful in my opinion. Looks like she got a seatbelt from the plane wrapped around her waist by mistake!
Mrs. T, here are photo's of the first family arriving in El Salvador! Certainly stylish if I may say so myself!!!!

ENJOY!!!!!
Hey Jestina, another floral oxford for you. Try urbanoutfitter.com. They have one for $49.00 named cooperative floral. It looks more like the one that Malia was wearing. I hope that they have a UK website or can ship to you!
When our Michelle travels, she makes a statement. This statement says, " CHIC". Gosh, I love this lady!
So chic.
I like the outfit. Bright top. Belt and shoes match. I would have liked to see the belt a bit looser more relaxed so that it rested a bit lower. It's been alot fun checking out the fashions of Mrs. O during this trip.
You're right Rory!
I loved this outfit, until Irealized after reading the comments that it had a single sleeve. Sorry, but that doesn't do it for me. Sleeveless (twice) would have been much better in this instance!
I wish she would dress in this smart tasteful look more often..too often I am agast and think: "Oh no not the first lady"..
