Well, apparently this little number is indeed flying off the racks. A salesperson at H&M in Soho informed me that people have been buying the "Michelle Obama dress" non-stop since yesterday afternoon. I managed to grab the last dress at the location on Broadway just below Spring. It is a size 6, and is destined for one of you, dear readers. A little Valentine from me to you!

How about if I send you a picture of how I look right now. I have been home with a 3 yr old all week. Tuesday I found out he has strep throat. Started him on Antibotics. Today, Friday, found out that on top of strep throat he has the flu. And I will probably get it soon, because even though he is sick and tired of being couped up, he has been kissing me and telling me he loves he constantly. I own a construction company with my husband, and the only thing I was able to do this week was to take my 3 yr old to the doctor and get payroll done. Sob story not. True yes, but would like the dress. Love Michelle Obama. Strong, confident woman. Who could ask for anything more.
I absolutely love this dress and I love how easygoing Mrs. Obama is when it comes to her style. She wears what's sensible to get her through undoubtedly long days, but she also dresses with poised beauty and grace. She inspires me so much, not just as a wonderful woman but also with her lovely trends! You know you're doing something very right if you wear a dress one time and a retailer can no longer keep it on the racks!

I couldn't get a size 6 over my head but this is lovely. Curious about something though, I thought the dress was navy and white but in this picture the dots look yellow and orange. Does it come in different colors? If this is the same dress then it explains the yellow shoes. Genius!
