State Dinner Set for Wednesday

The President and First Lady will host President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China for a state visit this week. Festivities begin tomorrow, when Vice President Biden will lead the U.S. delegation to welcome President Hu at Andrews Air Force Base. A private dinner at the White House will follow.
On Wednesday morning, the president and first lady will officially welcome President Hu to the White House in a state arrival ceremony, followed later in the evening by a state dinner. Details on the menu and entertainment have yet to be announced. The key question in this circle: What will Mrs. O wear?

If she follows her precedent of honoring traditional aesthetics with western/modern cuts...I can't wait! Chinese traditional clothing is gorgeous...I'm eagerly awaiting! Maybe something red? Red, I believe, is considered good luck in China.
I absolutely, positively cannot wait to see what she wears! I KNOW it will be soooo perfect for the occasion and for honoring her guests and wowing her countrymen(women). (on pins and needles)
Perhaps something by Vera Wang, Derek Lam or Phillip Lim? Of course there's always the obvious Jason Wu as well. :)
I can't wait! Her last two state dinner dresses were smash hits. She has such a unique and modern yet classic point of view with her gowns. Which Chinese-American designer do you think she will wear? I'm guessing Vera Wang. She is the quintessential American designer of today and I can just imagine what beautiful confection she will create for Mrs.O.
I think that she is going to wear something Asian-inspired, but the color will be gold.
Peter Som maybe. The First Lady has worn quite a few of his pieces. Unlike Wu who is of Taiwanese ancestry, Som is actually of Han Chinese ancestry.
