Jump and Juggle

Image by Paul J. Richards / Getty Images
First Lady Mrs. O is back from her trip to Los Angeles, launching the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition yesterday, with an event at the Columbia Heights Educational Campus in Washington, DC.
Mrs. O jumped rope and juggled neon colored scarves, wearing a pink Moschino bow top, cinched at the waist with a white belt, and paired with white pants and silver flats. A great summer look!

I love her so much she is so full of life and energy she is never afraid to sweat lovely. The outfit is very cute love the bow the slacks and shoes very light free and cute.
Thanks Mrs.T. are you getting nervous? can't wait to see your wedding dress.
a very active and unselfconscious First lady. She was featured today on our morning show. pink + white combo looks good on her.
Which show, was that Chrystelle, any video available? I love that blouse!
I love pink on her, and the sparkly ballerinas are so gracious! I'm not fond of her belt, though; a bit too harsh on such a delicate top.But anyways, Mrs O alsways rocks!!!
Lovely!
Very cute ...
And boy, did you see Mrs. O jump rope in that outfit? She's a whiz!
What a fabulously shade of pink. So delicate and soft, like a lily in the pond..
Mrs. T I too am looking forward to seeing your wedding dress. I am sure it is divine.
All the best to you on your special day and I trust that all goes well.
Isn't she lovely? Isn't she wonderful? Yes, she is!
WOW, she was impressive in the clip showing her jumping rope and exceeding all those who jumped with her.
The tone of pink is a great color for her and as always her skin and hair look flawless.
The "jellys" are sweet on her feet !
Mrs. T are you going to post your wedding dress on this site?

Hi Mrs, T,
I'm an avid fan, but I was wondering why photos of Mrs. O are taking so much time to appear on the site? I'm finding that HuffPost has recently been my go-to for updates on our first lady's activities and what she's wearing.
Thanks,
Dlev
Lavender toe nail polish???? COOOOOOOOL!
I must say, the still photo above looks better than the motion/video I saw on the TV machine yesterday-- the white pants floofed out as they caught air and looked quite a bit wider than this photo... but her jump-roping was AMAZING! Guess it must be part of her workout regime, not just from childhood, 8-) The silver slippers looked so cute as the camera focused on her doing some one-foot action (bouncing on one foot, with the other held up! WHILE the jump-rope was in action! i suppose a balance exercise?)
Love FLOTUS, but WHY the belt???????
Trend appeal. Can be worn with many things - dress up or down. Doesn't have to be belted and I love the unusual detail on side of belt. Would love one.
She looks great here. Anyone who looks this fit and slender in white slacks really impresses me. I also love that rosy pink shade on her.
I checked out the HuffPost link above. I like the shoes a lot. Period.
Here is a beautiful new look: http://obamadiary.wordpress.com/category/michelle-obama/
Mrs.O with Mrs.Medvedeva. love it!

Jaylanie maybe Mrs.T isn't aware of the fact that Mrs.O was at the DOJ yesterday given how clouded her mind must be with her upcoming wedding. i bet that she will feature it soon.
i just hope that her blog will not suffer during her hiatus.
Loved both outfits she wore yesterday, the DOJ outfit was ON POINT! This one is summery as all get out. Reminds me of a pair of linen trousers I bought from jcrew about a month ago.
Here's a picture of the first ladies today! It's an oldie but goodie!

Light, free and absolutely lovely.
Thanks Jaylanie and Chrystelle for the postings. Love both outfits.
The black peep toe shoes is a must have for me.
The Moschino blouse is absolutely beautiful and a fabulous color. The under-bust belt not only ruins the gorgeous blouse, but the line of the outfit as well.
MRS OBAMA TOP IS NICE SHE LOVES BOW TIES HER BELT IS NICE AND HER PANTS TO HER FLATS ARE NICE SHE WEAR THEM BEFORE.
I like the blouse, pants, and shoes. She even jumps rope elegantly!
OMGosh--adorable jumping rope with a pink bow top. Hehe: the jumprope color matches!
@dlev - the slow down in post time is due to personal circumstances. I am getting married on June 26 and thus have been very busy with final preparations. The site will go on hiatus from the 26th through July 10, while I'm away on honeymoon. I will post to explain this, and provide alternate links for content. Thanks for understanding!
The top is outstanding....the color is phenomenal on her. I love having Mrs. Obama representing American women to the world....she's modern, she's smart, she's educated, she works hard and is a wonderful wife and mother. She makes us all look good!
Mrs. T, my niece gets married tomorrow and she's working on fumes! You brides are a cute and funny lot. You must be so happy, do your best to enjoy every moment on Saturday! Congratulations. We will be fine, and yes, we will miss you. We'll be here when you get back, sweetie!
Mrs. T, I'm wondering if Mrs. O's style has influenced your wedding dress or those of your attendants?
I wish you happiness ever after in your marriage and hope your husband will appreciate you as much as your faithful readers on this site!
What a beautiful, flattering shade of pink, and silver shoes are a signature touch of Mrs. O's that I love. For once I'm saying yes to the belt--it holds her shirt in place so it doesn't fly up as she jumps rope. Can you imagine THAT photo and the subsequent comments?!
Oh this is just perfect summer wear. White, and pink in a delicate fabric, sharpened up with a white belt. Fantastic. And how loooong do Mrs O's legs look with the belt on her high waist?! Very nice.
This is fun, funky, and sophisticated. This outfit hits the bulls-eye.
Some are reporting that the DoJ outfit with the mauvey top was a dress by Narciso Rodriguez, but the dark high-waisted skirt part looks very much like one worn with a print Alexander McQueen long-sleeved chiffon blouse some months ago. ??? (Photo of the latter was in the May issue of Vogue.)
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding Mrs. T I wish she all the blessing in the world. Charlene in Detroit said it best relax and enjoy yourself we will be here when you get back.
Mrs. T, we know you are preparing for your wedding and wish you joy and happiness. We'll miss our daily "fix" but will be right back when you start working on it again. Don't even give this or us a second thought - go get married and have a wonderful honeymoon. None of your loyal readers are going to jump ship! You've put a ton of effort into making this site special and we love it and appreciate you!
Great photos, LOVE HER!

Excuse me, but what blouse or top could Mrs. O wear while jumping rope that would not fly over her head if it was not belted??
It would be nice if some people would use their heads before making ridiculous comments.
Love this first lady and the outfit is great.
I see that I'm not the only one who will buy the same blouse/pants/skirt/dress in different colors if I REALLY love the way it looks on me. Our FLOTUS has this in white, black and now this pink....I love it. Pink tones are the best for her, IMO. She looks healthy, happy and energetic. That's something we can ascribe to. As for the belt, well, I'm a huge belt fan! So this look does it for me. I likey!
