The entire O family is off to Chicago for the holiday weekend. Love the pop of color added to Mrs. O's black and white ensemble by her red ballet flats. And might that be a Vineyard Vines tote Mrs. Robinson is carrying?

Update: Fans of Mrs. O's blouse will be happy to know it's a stretch poplin fitted top with collar bow detail from the Moschino Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

This blouse is a knock out of the park. I am so excited to learn who the designer is. Wearing a colored flat or heel with a black/white outfit is so pleasing.
Here's hoping the O's have a wonderful and relaxing Chi Town weekend with their friends and family!

It is great the First Family is going home to Chicago for the Memorial Day weekend. Staying connected to extended family and friends is so important, and it is especially good for the girls.
Look how the girls are growing up right before our eyes, especially Miss Sasha with her baaad zebra bag!! Go, girl! She is something else!
Sigh.....I absolutely adore this family ( and that has nothing to do with politics) I just like THEM as people!
Thanks again Mrs. T. for allowing us this experience for at least 3 more years!

I'm certain the President has the Gulf Coast crisis on his mind ... the people, the damage, the cost. Those %$@#$ at BP. And the repercussion to his next election attempt.
I particularly like Mrs. O's traveling outfit. That white top is beyond sharp. And oh, the girls, the girls. Every time I see a photo of Mrs. Robinson, I want to sit down and talk with her.

The entire family is just so dang good looking. They are all dressed as one should for air travel heading to vacation, whether it's a suit or a top with slacks/capris/long shorts -- very crisp, which is a lot more than I can say about most who travel by air these days. (I have such a hard time sitting next to someone on a plane who likes like he/she just rolled out of bed or finished a work-out or just finished household chores -- it's so icky!) And, seriously, since they're traveling by private plane they could easily say to heck with it and dress down, so I like the fact that they dress this way for travel. As for Mrs. O's flat, I really like the red and how it pops and adds color to the ensemble. I, too, love Sasha's tote -- I want one! Sasha is growing her hair and it looks like Malia may have cut her hair. It's a cute cut -- I wish I could see it from the front. Well, I sure hope they have a fun and relaxing weekend in their home town with their family and friends!

While I adore my First Family, I am peeved that they are not taking Bo to Chicago for the weekend. I a starting a Milk Bone Party for more travel time with the family for our beloved Bo. Who will join me? LOL! Everyone is looking great! Love love love them!
Does someone coordinate Sasha and Malia's outfits? Their clothes appear to be so compatible in pictures I've seen of them. Their colors and their shoes style are quite similar in this pic. Just wondering if anyone knows. It definitely makes for lovely pix.

A well deserved and needed rest, indeed, for the First Family! The weather report, in Chicago, this weekend is supposed to be great for backyard barbeques, lake front beach relaxation, and picnics in the parks! I hope everyone enjoy the holiday with family and friends!
Wonderful - they're going to Chicago for the weekend. I heard on CNN The President played basketball with some old friends this morning. Mrs. O is so well poised always, just look at her posture walking and holding her purse. Unprecedented a maz ing First Lady. With everything they've encountered and experienced since they've moved to the White House, they just look so down-to-earth and we love this about them.

I bet they can't wait to just relaxed and be normal for a weekend. The girls will get to see old friends and just be kids again. Th is is a well deserved mini vacation. I cant wait to getaway in July , with my family. Having the grandmother around is also a blessing. It is so hard to get my mom to travel with us.
Mrs. O knows how to acessorize to make her outfit pop, whether it's flats, purse or bangles. She shines all the time.

Glammie, you are so right. Our President has a lot on his mind and as it should it shows. He didn't even have time to change into comfortable traveling clothes. It must have been difficult for him to leave for a family vacation with so much to contend with...but, I am glad he did. It is just as important to spend time with his familly. Besides, what can he really do in the Gulf. If he had a viable solution to this fiasco he'd have implemented it long before now.
I love that "Grandma" is included in so many functions. Of course they all look cute and fashionalbe, they are the Obamas!!!!!
I'm sure Mrs. Robinson was especially happy to be back in her hometown of Chicago. I hope they all had a happy and peaceful visit home.
I have read some negative comments about Obama taking time off--good grief! He works so hard and it seems to me that every time he has a vacation something big comes up to cut into his brief time away. I appreciate the impact the First Lady has on him--her calmness and steadiness must be a real comfort. I imagine he enjoys seeing her in her beautiful "dress up" clothes and her cute casual wear. What an example they are to young families--THAT'S how you treat your spouse and children!

Mrs. Obama is hitting the road hard as ever in Nevada with her Lets Move campaign. I love this dress it looks very light stylish Nevada has been known for its heat so Flotus has to do whatever she can to stay cool I wonder what kind of outfit she will wear for the outdoors activity. Ladies today is the big day. Its finally here my sister's graduation ceremony. I have on a blue and white floral print sundress wedges and a belt of course I believe I have channeled my Mrs. O very well. Thank you all again for your suggestions kudos to everyone.
