Additional photos from the recent White House Governors Ball have made my day! Love the second look at Mrs. O's Thakoon gown. And might those be the Loree Rodkin diamond bangles Mrs. O parted with yesterday?
Per Political Punch, the first lady gave her inaugural jewelry a special goodbye at yesterday's Smithsonian event: “Oh look the jewelry!” she said with a laugh and a wave, “This is what I’ll miss the most. Bye jewelry!”

@ Nyon; I love that they look like they're having the most fun compared to everyone else who's standing around taking themselves too seriously.
But you are right, Mrs. O is FIERCE in her moves right there, and her hubby is just jammin' in that first picture. The second one is just silly Os having fun with each other.
After a long day at the office, pictures like this give me hope that all is not lost in this great country of ours. May God continue to bless America!

I can feel it! I can actually hear the music. This is a couple who grooves to Stevie Wonder. He gets to relax for a few minutes, clear his head before going to his private office to read letters from citizens. The lady to the right behind them seems a bit perplexed, no? Not judging just wondering what is going through her mind. Her dress is nice.
The FIRST COUPLE gettin' their GROOVE ON! Ha! I love it! Mrs. Obama and Mr. President (both looking fresh and jazzy) are my kind of people! So refreshing to see. I, also, see others in the first photo gettin' their groove on, too! In the second photo, Mr. President is definitely into the music. Now, that's my kind of President and First Lady! They make me want to sing...groovin'...on a Sunday afternoon.....wheelin'....couldn't get away too soon...strollin' down Broadway! I know I skipped a verse or two! Ha! Don't mind me, I'm just enjoying the view! LOL!!!
