InStyle Hearts Mrs. O

InStyle.com has refreshed their Michelle Obama Style Gallery with a new focus on office wear. The gallery celebrates the first lady's signature looks and gives suggestions on how to find similar looks for less. Our favorite pick is a patterned skirt from The Limited, seen here, which takes a page from Mrs. O's famed J.Crew skirt worn last fall. Have a peek!

I really like this look. I like how you are providing more economical finds to be able to dress like the smart and classy Mrs. O. Thanks!
Thanks Mrs. T!
That was fun!
Look at our lovely FLOTUS on the cover of PREVENTION MAGAZINE!!

The First Lady looks great on the cover of Prevention. Thanks for the link sierra.
Thanks Sierra, our FLOTUS is a true beauty.
Great cover shot. Doesn't appear to be airbrushed to oblivion, which is good. The thing I love most about Mrs. O is that she appears to be at peace. At peace with her life, her family, and herself. This is much deeper than just being content with her life. Of course she must have her days and moments where she's not feeling so good about things, but she really exudes a level of stability, calm, and completeness that is nice. Anyway, reading up on her life's journey, it took work for her to get to this spot. I'm happy for her that it appears that she's not just content, but at peace too.
This is a little late, but I just came across this nice picture of Michelle arriving for the president's speech at the UN in her red dress. This is the best I've seen: standing alone with no one or thing cutting part of her off.
This is a political site, but it has a wide-ranging truly interesting group of slide shows, many of which only slightly hint at politics. The person putting the shows together displays a good sense of humor. Like the one on Qaddafi titled "Despotic Chic" and Michelle has one all to herself with another interesting title : "Michelle Obama: The First Lady Czar"--from present back the first day of the presidency and then ends with the de la Renta red dress.

That is a great dress she is wearing on the cover of Prevention Magazine! Unusual color for her, but it suits her well.
Took a look at the Prevention Mag pic. She looks great in that. The dress is a little too fitted but she looks great in it.
Sharon,
That's a great shot of the red U.N. suit. The lighting in that building was so bad I thought the suit was actually more of a maroon. It's candy apple red and it's gorgeous on her complexion.
I know that this is about Mrs.-O but couldn't resist these

I may be lagging behind just about everyone else but I hadn't noticed that my favourite shoes from the Italy visit were first worn on the Jay Leno show. Nice recycling.
Good article too, thanks Mrs T. I've always done well out of The Limited. I once had to buy an extra suitcase to take all my loot home to the UK..... hehehehe.
Again, Mrs. O has done it. She is such a classy lady. I hope I look as good as she does when I leave my home. She looks refreshing, bright and happy. The dress on the cover is cute. Keep it coming Mrs. O.
