When in Rome (Updated)

As the President and First Lady arrived in Rome, Mrs. O dazzled in a yellow sheath dress, accessorized with an oversize green brooch at her shoulder. We love that Mrs. O has mixed two of her signatures - a classic sheath and a statement brooch - while introducing a fresh play on color.
Update #1: Mrs. O wears a Jason Wu canary yellow silk faille custom sheath dress. The pin is a rare 1960s vintage piece in paper mache, purchased at Ikram.
For the afternoon, Mrs. O changed ensembles to visit the Coloseeum with her daughters, wearing a white sundress with an Erickson Beamon turquoise brooch pinned at the neckline. The brooch was first seen in August 2008, as Mrs. O opened the Democratic National Convention.
Update #2: Mrs. O wears a white cotton silk dress by Narciso Rodriguez.

I definelty don't like the yellow fluor on her! can 't she wear something soft ! this is too mmmmmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuuuuuch!!
I would imagine that the Secret Service watch all directions so yes, it's highly likely that he is having his leg pulled mercilessly by the colleagues who have to check Mrs O every day. Maybe we should just start a new blog for all you admirers:
"TBG: His Style and What He's Packing".
Re: Mrs O's posture.... I was surprised to hear comments about it. I've always thought her posture was really very good. I mean, yes, occasionally the camera catches her not standing perfectly but come on! Camera's shoot a moment, a fraction of a second! Given the number of seconds in a 24 hours day, I think she's got good posture, and I've rarely seen her doing Tall Girl Slouch. I rather thought she was a good example of a tall woman who didn't slouch! Lovely for tall girls growing up right now - what better role model for standing up straight and being proud?
Loving the soft pink lip. I can't pull it off (I'm too olive skinned) but she sure does!
Ginger, what's a yellow fluor?
Mrs. Obama looks beautiful in the yellow Jason Wu dress she wore arriving in Rome. Among her outfits on this trip, it is my favorite on her. The color is lovely on her and the fit really flatters; I can't figure out why, but more so than the black & white Jason Wu dress that is basically the same style, which she wore in Moscow (the yellow is a little bit longer for one thing, I think).
I'm so glad I can see a close up pic of Michelle where I can see how she wears her brooches.
I'd like to try them, but I need guidance! Like a prior poster, she makes me wish I were taller, shapelier, with that wonderful skin tone. She's the only woman I've seen who can really wear chartreuse.
i love the dress on Mrs. O bt i think the real star of the photo is Malia she looks cool and collected in her Grey Peace T and shades
Love these dresses on FLOTUS and love the daughters. So pretty/cute! They are so lucky to be able to travel and expand their perspectives of the world.
