New Jacket(s)

Not unlike the rest of us, Mrs. O broke out her Fall wardrobe this past week. Making stops in Madison, WI and then Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. O sported two variations of the same cropped jacket and patent leather belt, first in royal blue and then black. The clean lines are reminiscent of the Narciso Rodriquez suit Mrs. O was seen wearing regularly this spring. She mixed up the similar looks by pairing the black jacket with her signature jeweled brooches in black and white. Mrs. O's style lesson: If the look works, why not buy more than one?

Mrs. O can totally rock the jewel tones. Love the belted jacket - super modern and elegant.
This is a fabulous colour on her. She really does have a way with a belt this lady-I loved the Alaia belt with the purple shift back in the primaries.
[...] Notice the similarities in the chiffon fabric, pleats and cut. As we observed in our post about Mrs. O’s matching jackets, we get the sense that when something works, Mrs. O likes to buy more than one. For someone [...]
I am not loving the lavender jacket. I love the black and white.
I love the blue jacket on her here. It looks Great!!!! She should wear more jackets like this

[...] another example of Mrs. O buying in multiples, last seen in late September when Mrs. O wore the same jacket in two different colors. From a practical standpoint, this may be a necessity given Mrs. O’s grueling travel [...]
[...] the past Mrs. O has favored 1960s-inspired three-quarter sleeve jackets, often cinched with a belt at the waist. This 1940s-inspired cut however was curved in all the [...]
Very nice. I do exactly the same. If I find an article of clothing that really looks great and fits me perfectly, I always buy it a several different colours (2 or 3). I can therefore mix and match and know I always look good. Mrs O looks fantastic as always.
Love the blue jacket!
I like the 3/4 length sleeve. It is more feminine than the traditional length. I also like that it's belted. A wonderful feminine touch.
