A Covetous Trio

Several of you have written in to inquire about Mrs. O's multi-strand gold and bronze necklace, seen above at a LGBT luncheon during the Democratic National Convention and again in a Details magazine photo. A bit of research reveals the necklaces are by Erickson Beamon, the same designer duo behind many of Mrs. O's brooches. A fresh take on classic pearls, Mrs. O in fact wears three Japanese glass pearl necklaces in bronze, gold and champagne from the Erickson Beamon "Peace at Last" collection. The necklaces above and more favorites from Erickson Beamon can be found at newly opened Beyond 7 in New York, and Ikram in Chicago. Stay tuned for more Mrs. O jewelry exclusives later this week.

This is what I so love about this blog - not one bit of detail escapes your attention and each is explained in minute detail - you fulfill my every question - sometimes before I have even realize I have one !
THANK YOU.

Pretty. Nice twist on the classic pearls.

I'm terrible with accessories, and I find necklaces to be especially tough territory. It would never occur to me to wear three of the same necklace in graduated sizes. That's why Mrs. O is a genius!

I love accessories and I love Mrs O's taste in them. As a fan of big, dangly earrings, I would like to see her wear more earrings like the ones she wore Election Night.

This is one of my favorite looks on her along with the purple from the Larry King interview and the beautiful green on the Colbert Report.

Wow! Truthfully I think the necklace looks even nicer in the shot by itself, I think because it contrasts nicely against the white. I'd love to see her wear the same necklace against either a very dark or very light top.

Oooh, that is just gorgeous. I have a three strand kind of like that, that belonged to my grandmother. I never thought those colors would come back in style, I love the muted tones.

Not as much fun as clothes, shos and jewelry -- construction has begun on the Inaugural Platform. There is even a video of the first nail being driven, lol. I can't wait!!

This site is fabulous!! How genius of you to follow Mrs. O's fashion and style! I love it! Do you also plan to follow her redecorating efforts in the White House as well? I am planning to reserve tickets for a visit at some point in 2010, hoping that she will have put her personal touches on the residence by then. Kudos to the site!

I think they also carry Erickson Beamon at Helen Yi in Chicago.
I know that they have Aris Geldis and Ben Amun.
