The President and First Lady are hosting a White House ceremony to present the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Israeli President Shimon Peres this evening. The medal is the highest civilian honor in the United States.
For the occasion, Mrs. O wears a black one shoulder gown with pleated detailing through the bodice and skirt. A gold belt accents the waist, while pointed toe heels and statement earrings complete the look. Stunning!
Update #1: Mrs. O wears House of Lavande Vintage Black & Gold Drop Earrings. (No word just yet on that gorgeous gown!) Update #2: Mrs. O wears a Michael Kors black georgette pleated one shoulder gown. Update #3: Mrs. O wears a vintage Dior belt from New York Vintage.

Love it all, especially the belt which is perfect. As a jewel by itself, the belt is enough, so the earrings should have been more simple !!!

Lorene...why do you want to see the pics of the fundraiser and why are you so concerned with how much they cost. The First Lady and President have 40 dollar dinners too? Once again, there are not words good enough for this woman- this First Lady has set a style and a bar so high that it will take someone truly unusual to pass it! She almost floats with those pleats in the dress, and the gold chain around the waist is off the chain!! Such an amazing and incredibly beautiful look with the one shoulder- only this First Lady could pull it off. When you see her, you can only gasp in wonder- our First Lady is a true American Treasure!
