Easy Breezy

The First Lady had two events today, first building a playground at Imagine Southeast Public Charter School in Washington, D.C., and then hosting the Congressional Picnic on the South Lawn of the White House. Between events, Mrs. O changed from casual attire to a black and white chevron stripe dress paired with red flats.

Update: Wow, you are all quite fast! It does appear that the First Lady wears the Shoreline striped sash dress from Talbots, which unfortunately, is already sold out. A photo follows below.

She looks fabulous; kudos to her for seeing the potential in this dress, as she looks far better than the model. On Michelle and in the slight wind there must have been, you can see the movement in the skirt, which is what makes it complement her dynamic personality so perfectly. I know everybody's been chatting about the Camp David-departure outfit, which *is* inarguably sharp, but this ensemble is what we'll be seeing in museum exhibitions in a few years.
@English Observer, I agree wholeheartedly re your comments on the cardigan. In that pic, Mrs. O is in her active, "Let's Move," mode. You throw on something comfortable, and it maybe looks askew or tight when photographed like this from a distant and not direct-on angle. I love the color! I doubt Mrs. O would be wearing it still if it was fitting her "too tight." :)
I just saw this cute clip on Hardball w Chris Matthews:

Peace.
Perfect style for her figure - no break in the waist.
