Gorgeous pin which I would love since it's the state flower of Virginia where I reside.

I would be in heaven wearing that pin. Divine! It reminds me of what I call "teacher pins" Teachers in my day always wore the most delightful pins. I'm old enough to remember when female teachers were not allowed to wear pants.

Aww Purple. The color of wisdom, confidence and royalty. In the Color Purple, it is the symbol of God showing off. And who can wear purple without saying look at me! I look good and I know it. The dogwood blossom--its petals not really petals--giving symmetry and evoking the spirituality of the cross. A gorgeous pin simple and yet complex and thought provoking.

Mrs. T: Wishing you a special Christmas and a New Year filled with happiness! Thank you so much for this website which is my absolute favorite. I check in every day to see the pictures and read the comments. We have become family around our love & admiration for Mrs. O (and her family); no negativity here - nothing but love! This contest is exciting! Of course I hope to win the pin but if not, hey, it will go to another who loves Mrs. O as I do and I'll look for a copy somewhere : ) Love to you all! and thanks for making my days so much more pleasant.
