We Love

Thank you to those (IVA!) who directed us to this lovely photograph of Mrs. O and Sarah Brown walking through the gardens of 10 Downing Street in London. The photo was taken on June 8, but just released today. A wonderful way to start the weekend!

Hello Again Everyone-
I've noticed that whenever the First Lady wears something that doesn't register high on the fashion scale we start to argue amongst each other.
But when she wears something fabulous .... we become best friends.
I think the regular bloggers have excellent commentary and it is really bothersome for each of the statements to be re-examined and dissected when it is clear what the statement says.
I hope we can all take a deep breath and hope that the next outfit is a winner!
Sending my best
I'll apologize in advance for the lengthiness but I just had to say this:
WOW! You miss a day and a soap opera has begun among the bloggers! I have to laugh ladies because this is truly funny! We live in America. We have freedom of speech. Some people may not like certain things others have to say but yet, they have a right to express their opinions. Didn't we learn as youngins' sometimes, some people are not going to agree. (And don't forget that other one about sticks and stones! LOL) As adults, it seems to me the best method is to 'agree to disagree' then move on! Besides, I keep saying this, over the next 4 -8 years, there's going to be a whole lot of things we like and don't like and anyone should be able to voice that opinion. Maybe we can all agree to just do it with honey instead of vinegar?
This is such a wonderful site!!! On a personal note: I have had a new career fall into my lap as a MO LookAlike/Impersonator -- I have a striking resemblance to this incredible woman. I read this site every day not only for research in being able to portray this lovely woman to the best of my ability, but also because I learn sooooo much about new fashion designers, new looks to try, wonderful new concepts she's bringing to the White House that we can also bring to our own homes in our own little way. And the best part of all? It's in a community with a whole bunch of other folks who I want to believe feel the same way!
This is such a GOOD THING! No one else has such a comprehensive site dedicated to all things Mrs. O. Please don't let a few people ruin it for us all!
I stand by every single one of my posts-
Thank you Audrey, Camille, Bianca etc.
And to all people of goodwill and decency - Shalom.
We remain alert...
What happened here, is that unlike most of her outfits, it drew attention to her high tummy, and large hips. But, I really do not beleive that her appearance is the first thing on her agenda, and that is one of things I like about her.
Mrs. O looks wonderful. So does sarah (shame about shoes though...)
