New photos from the White House Flickr stream. We like! The top two photos are from the Os Cinco de Mayo celebration at the White House, where Mrs. O wore Moschino. The bottom photo is from Mrs. O's recent trip to New York, and features a green floral skirt that we've not seen before.

One final thing: Does it not speak volume about the power of the first lady’s influence that she is as requested a commencement speaker as the Prez such a short time into the presidency? Regadless of the “historic first black president” thing that initially makes it unique and attractive to have her speak, she has showed that she is quite a force in her own right. As much as I hate to compare,previous first ladies, including Hillary Clinton, mostly had to wait until after their husband’s terms to be granted such honors and be so popular.
IMHO, it was his Mother who taught him how to love a woman the way he obviously loves Michelle (and isn't afraid to show the whole world!!). That Mother of his did an awful lot right to turn out this young man.
@ Posh Tater. WOW, that pin is to die for. Have looked at quite a few online, and that's by far the classiest. Good for you! Now I just wish I was your friend so I could borrow it....
