Jason Wu for You

Dear Mrs-O.org readers,
2009 has been a magical year. We watched the Os enter the White House, and have been merrily following the first lady's style ever since. Along the way, this blog even became a book. So, to mark the close of the year (and perhaps to distract us while the Os enjoy their much deserved vacation), I'm giving away a brand new Jason Wu dress.
The lucky winner will have a piece of Mrs. O's style in her closet, as the first lady wore a custom teal version of this same Jason Wu dress in late July, seen here. With its classic lines, flattering beige hue and double bow detail, this dress is sure to delight.
Details: Jason Wu / Size 6 / Linen and Cotton Blend / Shoulder to Shoulder = 16" / Bust = 31" / Waist = 28" / Hips = 39" / Length = 39 1/2"
How to win: This dress will go to one lucky winner. Leave a comment with your name and email. (Note: Your email should go in the field marked "author email", not in the body of the comment. Your email will only be used in order to contact you if you are the winner. It will not be stored or shared anywhere else.) I'm planning to use random.org to select the winner next week.
Deadline: All comments must be left by December 31, 2009, 11:59 EST. Only one entry per person, pretty please.
Good luck and hooray!
xoxo,
Mrs. T
Update: Congratulations to Barbara O. who left comment #297 and will receive the Jason Wu dress. Happy New Year!

A 1-2 strand, pearl choker necklace would sweetly, complement this dress.
Such a beautiful dress! I need more than my fingers and toes to count the number of places I could wear it to! Hooray, indeed :)
This is such a beautiful dress!
I love this blog. Mrs. O wears amazing clothes and this is the best place to check out what she's wearing!
Just my size. And I could share it with my (grown daughter.) Love the dress. And congratulations on a great year for you, the Obamas and our country.
Ah, well. I'll try, but I never win any type of lottery or random drawing!!!!
Great idea, though, Mrs. T!

please...make me a princess!
Mrs. T., what a delightful surprise for one lucky winner. My granddaughter Jaz, is in her first year of college after years of hard work to help her along. She is tall and beautiful and will be on the NCAA women's rowing team to pay for her college along with an academic scholarship. She would look gorgeous in a Jason Wu. She is in bioengineering and then off to medical school so it will be many years before she can afford a Wu. She has grandma(me) to help her with her wardrobe for now. My that child has good taste. After Michelle wore the White House Black Market dress on "The View" we found a lovely Prom Dress for her there.
Good luck, everyone. I know that random.org will pick the perfect winner.
Mrs. T, I'm not entering because I couldn't wear a 6, but I just wondered how you happened to have a spare brand new Jason Wu lying around. Please tell us!
What a gorgeous dress :) And it would fit perfectly!

This is a simply and yet elegant piece. It would take an intelligent personality to make this simple beauty a charm.
Such a nice dress - I would love to have it!
It would be beyond exciting to have something in common with Mrs. O's wardrobe! I'd be done searching for a rehearsal dinner dress :-)
I'm addicted to your blog - as soon as Mrs. O came in the scene (I was an early Obama supporter in 2007), I started regularly searching for photos of her outfits. I don't have to anymore because I can leave it to the expert - thanks!
My size and one of my favorite Mrs. O dresses!
Karin

After a very rough year, putting on this dress would make me feel alive again.

I love this dress - especially the way Mrs. O wore it in July.
They are so elegant. Mrs. Obama dresses and presents her family so well.
