Fabulous Frock

First Lady Mrs. O debuted a new knee-length sheath dress to attend the presentation of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award at the White House this evening. Wide panels of coordinating grey fabric run diagonally across the length of the dress and bodice, meeting at the right shoulder, under a coordinating flower-like adornment. The dress features a coordinating belt in a tonal grey-purple, which sits at the natural waistline. Silver pumps and a polished updo complete the look - one of our favorties of recent months. And sadly, we can't find a photo worthy of how fabulous Mrs. O looks in this ensemble (at least not from AP or Reuters)! For now, you can have a peek here.
Perhaps this look signals exciting things to come for tomorrow night?
Update #1: Mrs. O wear a grey sheath dress, from the Moschino Pre-Spring 2010 collection.
Update #2: We were able to secure an image. Hooray!

She hit it out of the park with this gray sheath dress. This is a silouhette that totally flatters her. She gets the coveted hourglass shape from it and the interesting "pin" brings the attention up to her pretty face and megawatt smile. Hope she sticks to this kind of look more often. It looks like there's a thin, tiny little belt (???) but it isn't sitting directly beneath her bust line (hallelujah!)
Charleneindetroit, thanks...I'll check it out.
The bow on this dress is perfect - in terms of size and location on the dress. Like the steely grey color, too.
Wow, this is a fabulous dress. Completely beautiful. Brava!
To jestina, brina, marabout40 and anyone else that has seen the photo and thinks the huge white monstrosity that looks like a greenhouse that is sitting on the White House lawn looks good then all I can say is that 'my taste' is much different than yours.

And whoever it was that insinuated that I was an Obama hater - YOU ARE VERY WRONG!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone :)
No Leah, I never insinuated that you were a hater. I respect YOUR opinion as I know you are a regular poster here. Fair enough, you dislike "the tent" but I will bet that those people that started the negative posts on other websites are from haters and not Obama admirers.
That's a great dress on Mrs. O. Wow!
I think the grey dress is beautiful, and the detailing on it is beautiful. Mrs. O. may have added one of her fabulous brooches to the bow at the neckline. This is a great length, but I do think that it is a wee bit too tight through the hips. Actually, a slim black belt may have looked good with this particular sheath.
